Where can you find truth this Christmas? Certainly not in the fairy-tale hype of the season. Only in the baby in the manger, who grew up to become the greatest of all teachers, can you find truth to nourish your soul.
When God wants us in His service sometimes that means rearranging our priorities and putting our pursuits on hold.
Life is all about relating to others in love, forgiveness, and grace. We need each other.
Constant activity is not necessarily a sign of spirituality. It may even be a distraction from enjoying God. He’s looking for our hearts to delight in Him before and during our service for Him.
Always living in the moment isn’t easy; there are so many distractions. But when you embrace each moment you begin to live life to its fullest.
Jesus issued a verbal call: “Follow Me.” Those who responded found deep satisfaction. What will your response be to the Redeemer's call?
God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is indeed a gift too wonderful for words. And it’s the best gift you’ll ever receive.
This Christmas season, let’s keep our heart and eyes on our Lord and Saviour by remembering His first coming on that Holy Night, and be encouraged that His second coming is imminent.
Through the months leading to Christmas we are busily about our stuff—doing business, travelling, and engaged in the give and take of life. And then Christmas hits and the zoom lenses of our minds focus on the outstretched arms of the One who saved us.
