Ministry Letter July 2017
At Insight for Living Canada, we’re on a mission to distribute the Bread of Life to spiritually starving Canadians. But we can only do so much—we rely on your help to get it in the hands of those who need it.

In this message, we’ll meet an obscure, 80-year-old shepherd whose failure broke his spirit and left him feeling “over the hill” and washed up. Little did he know—he was on the verge of something great.
When it comes to caring for widows, it’s easy to be pulled by emotions into unwise decisions. That’s why Paul’s instructions are so helpful. And so are his practical reminders.
Jesus used this title to both reveal and conceal who He was. He reveals Himself as truly human and a lowly servant (Mathew 8:20; 9:6), identifying with us in our weakness and suffering for us (Mark 8:31).
At Insight for Living Canada, we teach soli Deo gloria—to God alone be glory. God should be thanked, praised, and given full credit for His sovereign grace and spiritual and physical provision.
Hope. It’s the one thing you and I cannot live without. But trying to hold on to hope can take all your strength, particularly when hope’s old enemy, doubt, drags you toward despair.
At Insight for Living Canada, we teach it’s through Christ alone—not angels, saints, relics, priests, teachers, churches, or anything else—that salvation’s accomplished. Jesus’ substitutionary death on the cross is sufficient for our justification and reconciliation to God the Father.
Jesus’ attitude toward women differed from the prevailing culture of His day, which placed women on the lowest rung of society. He didn’t view or treat women as inferior.
What is marriage? Who designed it? Who defines it? When speaking with others about their beliefs regarding marriage, you may be surprised at just how far apart your view is from theirs.
At Insight for Living Canada, we teach only total righteousness is acceptable to God and it’s found in Christ, not us. The only way we can accept Christ’s work is by placing our trust in Him.
