How Can Christians Combat Ageism?
To combat ageism, we first need to become aware of it in ourselves and those around us. We become informed by reading about aging and talking with older people about ageism.

Quite literally lives have been saved and salvaged because of this ministry. And it happens because you, and people like you, pray and give. Together we are the voice of Jesus to the marginalized in our day and in our country providing biblical truth and hope.
Biblically, it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure their children are properly educated about both the biological and moral aspects of sexuality. Parents are to “bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.”
We teach and explain the Bible, as our mission says, “so that people will come to an understanding of God’s plan for their lives, as well as their significant role as authentic Christians in a needy, hostile, and desperate world.”
Since organ donation was not done in Bible times, the Bible says nothing about it. So, we find some Christians in favour and some against it as they try to decide how to answer this question by applying biblical principles.
Just as God desired for Jonah to bring the truth of God’s Word to Nineveh, we believe He wants us to do the same for Canadians. This is what Insight for Living Canada does every day of the year on air, in print, and online.
The role of government in carrying out justice also entails passing and upholding just laws for the good of the community and protecting the needy. Government is to seek, serve, and promote the common good of the people, not the good of the rulers.
Non-believers don’t concern themselves with sharing the Gospel—only the followers of Jesus have that mandate. And sharing the Gospel is of eternal significance whereas “heaven and earth will disappear,” (Matthew 24:35).
Our passion at Insight for Living Canada is getting the Word into the hands and hearts of people. We want to expand our reach and provide even more Canadians with the tools they need to read God’s Word and apply it to their lives.
I believe Christians should be concerned about the environment—valuing it as much or more than others do. We should be the best environmentalists because of creation’s relationship to God.
