We can only claim and have assurance God will fulfil what He has said in His Word He will do. That means we cannot claim a promise if God didn’t make it.

Where does understanding justice begin? The term “justice” begins with God. Justice is rooted in the character of God and is not an outside principle to which He must conform.
Jesus urged His disciples, who were still shaken by His talk of death, to overcome their fear by depending on the Holy Spirit, claiming Christ’s peace, accepting God’s plan for the future, and following His pattern of obedience to the Father.
So far, Jesus has served up sombre topics of death, trials, and Peter’s denials. To calm troubled hearts, He taught His disciples about personal faith, preparation for heaven, God’s sovereign hand, and answered prayer.
Look up to the sky. Who calls snow to the ground, conducts thunder and lightning in a brilliant orchestra? Whose hands place the stars and raise the sun? The God of heaven and earth! His ear knows the song of every sparrow, the hum of every bee. His eye misses nothing.
Discipleship is more than just another church program. Jesus Christ has established discipleship as the method by which He plans to fulfil His mission to grow His church.
Jesus loved others to the utmost and mandated His disciples to love each other as He did. Not knowledge but our authentic agape-love marks us as Christ followers. This love seeks the highest good for others; it is unconditional, unselfish, and unlimited.
I’m going to level with you: No Christian gets a pass. I have no business writing a watered-down message that makes people feel good. That’s not what I’m about. It’s not what Insight for Living Canada is about.
