To face the world with confidence, children need security, faith, and courage. Security comes from knowing the truth. Faith is strengthened when we believe the truth. And courage is the result of acting on the truth.
As God's message of truth spread through Nineveh, God ensured that a seed of just a few words sprouted a full harvest of spiritual fruit. Every Ninevite, perhaps as many as 600,000, turned away from their brutal and wicked ways toward the living God.
Don’t neglect the here and now while waiting for the hereafter. Today is part of eternity. And it matters how we live.
If you have experienced the spiritual mountaintop, you are probably also familiar with the spiritual valley. These low places can be emotionally taxing and sometimes takes the form of discouragement, or even depression.
Strong Leadership is essential. If you’re in a position of influence, consider the example of Christ. He came not to be served but to serve. Strong leadership is servant leadership.
Music is medicinal. It calms, soothes, and lifts our weariness. It also delights and entertains, and helps us to forget our problems. Like the English poet William Congreve said—music has charms to sooth the savage breast, to soften rocks, to bend a knotted oak.
