God sees and knows our shortcomings. And that is why we daily need His undeserved favour—grace. In spite of us, His infinite love is unconditional. Our relationship to God is not based on our perfection, but on Christ’s.
The Bible never describes the work of demons in the lives of believers directly in terms of immorality. In other words, to say a believer has a “spirit of lust”—as if his real problem is a demon—assumes something the Bible never teaches.
Our teacher is the world’s leading expert on forgiveness. No one has more experience in forgiving than Him. His exams can be tough when we’re asked to put into practice what we’ve learned.
Be honest—do you talk too much? Do you find yourself saying, “I shouldn’t say anything...” and then spill it out? If these habits sound like yours then you’re like the majority. Verbal restraint is rare.
The key to loving our enemies is to consider God’s love for us.
