“Insight for Living is no longer available in my area. How can I listen to the daily message?”
What to do if this happens to you…
In April, we received a letter from a listener in the rural Kootenay region of British Columbia. She informed us her regular way of tuning into Insight for Living had been abruptly changed, leaving her without the daily inspiration of our program.
This is not an isolated event. As technology changes, so do the ways we access it. Radio stations and broadcasters alike are forced to adapt, by finding new and innovative ways of being heard.
Insight for Living Canada is committed to presenting solid biblical teaching in a relevant and accessible format. In keeping with that commitment, we currently provide a variety of ways to access our audio resources:
On Air: Insight for Living programs are broadcast on 104 radio facilities 2,220 times per month across Canada. The average Canadian listens to the radio 18 hours a week, so this is still a central focus for us.
Online: Three different Insight for Living broadcasts are streamed from our website. Along with our broadcasts we provide a message description, the Scripture passage studied, and supplementary information like Message Mates study notes and applicable resources.
Podcasts: Our newest reinvention for our broadcasts is providing them as free podcasts. When you subscribe to a podcast, your computer automatically downloads the latest files so you can listen on your mp3 player anytime, anywhere.
Email: Thanks to email, you never have to look farther than your inbox for the latest message from Chuck Swindoll and Insight for Living. Each weekday emails are sent to subscribers containing either our 30-minute Insight for Living broadcast or One-Minute Message audio devotional.
So, if you find yourself without your usual methods of listening to our programs, you can still stay connected with us. It may be different than you’re used to, but we guarantee no matter the medium, our excellent Bible teaching remains unchanged.
