Life as God Sees it

I’m having a hard time knowing whether to cheer when my team scores a goal in a hockey game these days. It might be disallowed upon review. It’s not truly a goal until the video judges in Toronto say that it is. This is probably a good thing, given that everybody in the building has a different perspective on things. The shooter sees it one way—the goaltender another. The referee has his view—the fans have theirs. But it’s the goal judges in the league office who will have the final say.
