Marina H. Hofman is a doctorate student at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, studying the Old Testament and ancient Hebrew language.
She desires to encourage Canadian Christians to live a vibrant life for Christ by faithfully appropriating biblical text to daily life. She loves reading the narratives and seeking the meaning and application of these stories for today.
Her favourite verse is “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free,” (John 8:32). By knowing the truth of God’s redemptive love and the power of the Holy Spirit, Marina has experienced great freedom in Christ in her own life. As a speaker and writer, she longs to see others experience freedom, joy and victory in Christ.
